Meet Tim.
13
YEARS SERVING AS A STATE SENATOR
Tim has served the 63rd Senate District since 2010, working hard to represent the voices of people in the City of Buffalo, Town of Cheektowaga, and the City of Lackawanna. As a dad of three and the Chair of Senate Transportation Committee, Tim's priorities have centered around making WNY a safer, sustainable place to work, live, and raise families.
12+
years as an occupational therapist
After receiving his degree in Occupational Therapy from D'Youville College in 1999, Tim began his career working with severely disabled pediatric and geriatric patients. He met his wife Katie, a physical therapist, while working at Bornhava Early Childhood Center for Children with Developmental Disabilities, and his desire to help people fuels him every day.
6
years as an erie county legislator
As an Erie County Legislator, Tim worked to enact one of the first texting while driving bans in New York State, and fought to increase penalties against sex offenders. As the Economic Development Chair, he spearheaded the Apprenticeship Law, focused on creating diversity in public works and workforce training programs in Erie County.
